Dr. Ing. Benjamin Krick works as senior scientist at the Passivhaus Institut Darmstadt, where he heads the working group on component certification. His focus is on the energy and cost-efficient building envelope as well as the sustainability assessment of the energy supply of buildings. Dr. Krick was born in 1976, studied and taught at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt and at the University of Kassel, where he did his PHD in 2008 in the field of experimental building with renewable materials. As a scientist, lecturer and author of numerous specialist articles and specialist books, he is very enthusiastic spreading the knowledge about energy-efficient, cost-effective and sustainable building.
